This artwork is created on paper using the classical murakka technique. It is crafted with 22k yellow gold, green gold, gouache, and stone paints. The design incorporates plant, rumi motifs, and geometric patterns.
The artwork is approached from the 16th-century classical perspective, inspired by the quote: “Multiplicity and unity are two opposing concepts. Multiplicity refers to plurality, while unity refers to oneness.” The forms within the design are executed with classical applications, enriched by Seljuk geometry. The work is completed with intricate needle techniques, adding a powerful visual effect that symbolizes the balance between unity and multiplicity.
This original design embodies the concept of balance, illustrating the intricate relationship between oneness and many, inviting the viewer to reflect on the depths of these two opposing yet interconnected ideas.
